Sunday 1st December - 'Angel Tree' Gift Service

Posted 21/11/2019

Every year the Prison Fellowship's 'Angel Tree' Project supports prisoners in their family relationships, by enabling children of prisoners at Chelmsford prison to receive Christmas presents as if from their dads. Our Worship Together service on Sunday 2nd December at 10.30 am will be an 'Angel Tree' Gift Service, and we would be very grateful if you could bring along suitable gifts for prisoners' children together with wrapping paper and money to cover the cost of postage. We know from experience what a difference this makes to the prisoners' families - follow this Angel Tree link for more information.

All Saints' Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday 16th November at the church, from 2.00 - 4.00 pm (doors open 1.45 pm). Seasonal stalls and music, refreshments and homemade cakes, children's games and activities, and fun for all the family - and you can go and see Father Christmas! This is a good chance to buy some early gifts and start getting ready for Christmas - it will be a great occasion, we look forward to seeing you!

Christmas Shoebox Appeal

Posted 04/09/2019

All Saints' is once again supporting the Christmas Shoebox Appeal through the charity T4U. This year the shoeboxes will be sent to deprived children/vulnerable adults/families in Romania, Belarus, Bosnia and the Ukraine, bringing them joy and excitement at this special time of year. Please download the Christmas Shoebox Leaflet for more information and details of how to fill your shoebox, which needs to be dropped off by Thursday 31st October at the latest at All Saints' Church or at 14 Lawn Lane CM1 6NR (let Liz Belsham know you're coming on 01245 256792). We would also be very grateful for donations of items which can be put into shoeboxes, and for money donations.
