Prayer is the foundation of the Church’s life. At 7.30 pm on the first Wednesday of each month, the Prayer Ministry Team lead a Prayer Meeting in the Church Centre to pray for our community, the world and the Church, and all are welcome to join us. There is further information about the work of the team in the Praying section of the What We Do page – please contact Marion Hodges, 01245 261388, email@example.com
We have several Home Groups, where people meet regularly in someone’s home in a friendly, caring and supportive group, to explore different aspects of the Christian faith and the Bible, and what this means for everyday living. If you are interested in joining one of the groups please contact Roger McFarland, 01245 263112, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bible Reading Notes
Many people like to have a daily quiet time, and it can be a help to use a series of bible reading notes, which give a short passage to read, a reflection, and a prayer for each day. At All Saints' we can arrange for you to receive bible reading notes regularly, and there are several different series to choose from. If you are interested please contact Rosemary Marnoch, 01245 267647.
From time to time, All Saints’ invites people to join Discovery groups, where we discuss the Christian faith in a friendly, social environment. The groups meet weekly for four weeks and are open to everyone, including those with no previous knowledge or experience, and those wanting to explore the faith in more depth. Discovery groups are also used by All Saints’ to prepare people for Confirmation. There is more information on our Commitment page. If you might be interested or would like to talk about what's involved, please contact Revd Susan Iskander, 01245 356720, email@example.com, or Roger McFarland, 01245 263112, firstname.lastname@example.org.
